How should we add technology to the classroom (Smartphones etc.)Without it negatively effecting the rules set by the college. Without it effecting peoples concentration.
Technology in the classroom is definitely an issue in todays classroom. Every classroom environment is different. We need to be flexible and adaptable to what works best in our classes.
I have found after taking the advanced methods class that having the use of technology actually helped me to stay alert because of the constant stimulation. I don't know if access to technology would have the same positive outcome with my high school students because most of them don't have the maturity to stay on task and will be checking out non related information.
